Picture House, Winchester

Now a shop this building was built as a cinema in 1914. Over time there have been nine cinemas. The theatre where I volunteer was one of them. This building continued to be a cinema until 1936.

I sat in the garden in the afternoon under an umbrella learning words for the choir performances next week.

Nigel finished work early as he wasn’t feeling very well. He came to see me briefly before returning home to rest. Hopefully he’ll feel better tomorrow.
