The Last Sunrise

We were up about 5.30am to leave our villa by 7am in Ithaca (Ionian islands, Greece) to get to the Piso Aetos port for our 7.45 am ferry to Kefalonia.

The sun was still rising at Kolpos Molou Bay as we passed so I stopped to take some photo's of it rising just above some yachts anchored offshore. Nice to see our last sunrise in Ithaca. Isn't nature beautiful! 

In the queue at Kefalonia airport to check in, I felt my back being scratched! I turned to see it was my cousin Jane and her husband Scott (see extra) We had a catch up in the Departure Bar.

The plane was an hour on the runway before it took off, and then getting back to the car the battery was flat! Despite all that we got back by 7pm. A great holiday and hopefully we will be back next year!
