through a glass

I thought the marigolds looked pretty and dreamy through the glass. Very hot today, too hot for the garden. I sorted out the pattern ready to make a kimono for Kathy when the material I ordered arrives on Friday. Visited Mr I today, he’s ok and was in good spirits. Called into the nursery on the way home for some bags of compost.
Update on the lotus seeds, day 3 - still no sign of any green shoots but the seeds have swollen up to almost three times their original size.
