Odd Day

Had a target today of 7,500 images which would round the week at a cool 50,000 fotos, which would be my highest count ever, and some 12,000 more than the closest week.

The weather has been good this week, could have been a little better, but it didn't stop me taking fotos which the main thing. Days off work are now history until I finish here.

But I was in a mood all day. Something to do with a bottle of red wine last night.

And then to cap off my bad mood some guy parks up directly infront of me. I'm sitting there, taking photos and all of a sudden theres a 5 series maybe 3 feet from my nose. It was that close.

The guy eventually gets out, wanders round, sees me and the van, doesn't exactly figure it out. So after a couple of moments I ask him to move the car. There are plenty of places to park it properly - it doesn't need to be parked on the road, on a corner blocking my view and preventing the RVs and buses that are on their way.

A heated argument ensued. He left, and I called him a wanker.

That set the tone for the rest of the day. But then something odd happened.

He drove past near the end of the day - pulled up in the proper space, smiled at me, and then apologised about what he'd done earlier in the day. Apologised for his manners, and then asked if I could take a photo of his car with his camera - which he gladly wanted to pay 10E for.

I didn't want the cash, but he was insistent! So we did a few good shots I hope on his little compact (actually my compact with his card), shook hands and parted good friends.

And then I finally hit my 7,500 fotos for the day.
