A Lovely Day
Little Man and I have had a lovely day. We had a lie in and then I made porridge for breakfast. I normally give Little Man Weetabix or Brinta¹ for breakfast on nursery school mornings. Porridge is for the mornings we're staying home.
We had Angela and her two children round this morning. Boaz, her oldest, is a bit younger than Ed is, and Isa is five months old. The two boys had a lot of fun.
Little Man was showing signs of being tired so I put him to bed. He slept for almost two hours and didn't want to get up, despite the fact that we had to leave for his speech therapy, which went well.
We came home and have had fish and chips for dinner. Little Man is currently playing in the garden. Since he slept this afternoon, I'm going to let him stay up for a bit. I have life group tonight and I do want him in bed, asleep, before I leave for that (which is why I'm posting this now).
¹Instant wholemeal.
