Pointy
I see that there’s the beginnings of eutrophication on the pond in front of Mountstewart House.
SJ and I sat on a quiet bench in front of this pointy picket fence and put the world to rights yesterday. You maybe didn’t notice the improvement in world affairs as there’s a lot going on.
The Ards Man is currently westwarding home on the boat from Scotland, so I’m having my annual ‘home alone’ week. I haven’t really enjoyed much slothfulness, though, as I’ve had morning and afternoon engagements every day so far! The trials of the retiree. SJ thinks she’s going to go back to teaching and do a wee bit of subbing, as she feels a bit purposeless at the mo. She’s only a year into retirement and so hasn’t quite got the hang of it yet. :-)
