Dark and light

This was taken in the New Forest this afternoon, up near Boldrewood, in one of the only flashes of sunshine we got. Three shots - that's all I managed in this cloud break - not what I'd reckoned on (BBC website, I rely on you - BOOOO!). But I did like the pale pony against the stormy sky and, sure enough, a few moments later it was pelting and I was running for the car in my sunhat trying to keep the camera dry - under a cotton shirt, whose stupid idea was that?

Sorry I haven't been around much this weekend - and I may not get all commenting done tonight either. But if not it will be done in the morning!
