Day out

Today was the day we visited St. Michael's Mount. First the gardens that were essentially a huge rockery full of exotic succulents. This was followed by a ridiculous 'afternoon tea' in the island restaurant before a rush to the top of the hill to dash around the impressive buildings. 
Our timings went a little astray and the return over the causeway was a little damp as can be seen in the image. Evening cooking plans disintegrated into a take away curry.
