Quiet Corner

Volunteering today. We were working in the full sun so took plenty of breaks under the marquee and drank water infused with lemon balm. As is often the case, it was the conversation which proved most interesting.

Andy was out at golf all day, so once home I had a late lunch and spent some time with Merlin. Later I gave him his third walk of the day.

In the evening I picked another kilo of strawberries, and around 3 kilos of blackcurrants - they are prolific this year and there are many more still on the eight bushes I have growing at the allotment.
