Here we are…

…..after having an awesomely tasty lunch at Verde, a lovely kind-of English type cottage garden cafe at Geraldine, around 30 minutes drive from here.  Tables and chairs outdoors were not popular, a very chilly day after another heavy frost.  From there we went to an outlet that sells cheeses and the delicious Kapiti Ice creams, sitting outside in the sunshine enjoying ice creams before driving home.  We’re now just hanging out, fire cranking….a light snack is all that’s needed tonight.
The two photos in extra have just come from Townsville.  Son Aidan is now officially an Australian !!  Today was the day where had to spout a few words about allegiance to the King and country (I see he is looking on from behind)…..I hope he didn’t have to sing the Australian National Anthem. (Kaylene became an Australian citizen some years ago and of course Lexi was born in Australia so an Ozzie).
