Had a really lovely day although it started with a touch of sorrow. My new Director of Communications has created a gorgeous website even with the free Google site software. She asked excellent questions that a Comms person would need to know. I came up with answers to most of them and then invited her to join my business partner and I in a meeting with a company we would like to hire us so she could directly hear our elevator pitch and directly detect what they respond to. Not only did she do that, she helped effectively pitch us!! She was amazing. 

But when we were first spoke we discussed how we were doing. We’ve both been through tough times and think that is helping us recognize reality and cope now when many are still in shock. She said there are people in Power Africa who still do not believe this is real. They have not been job hunting. They have been praying to God and they believe God will fix this, June 17th. I don’t know why they chose June 17th. I looked at my calendar to see how many days between now and June 17th. “Today is June 17th!” And she pointed out that in South Africa it was late in the day June 17th. 

I hurt for them today. 

On June 14th Ukraine intelligence agents secretly attacked an electrical substation that served military facilities in Kaliningrad. They did $5 million in damage. They drained the coolant and set it on fire. 

Tonight the Tombov region in Russia was hit with a massive drone attack, presumably against the Progress plant. The Progress plant produces control systems for aviation and missile technology. It seems to experience a lot of drone attacks. 

I’m getting lost in how many airfields in Russia have been attacked. Buturlinovka, base for Su-34 medium bombers. 15 explosions. 

Ukraine used a HIMARS to hit a convoy next to an abandoned gas station. It destroyed a defense ministry bus and other military vehicles.
