Summerhouse project

My summer project was to renovate the summerhouse at the far end of the garden. Neglected for many years I've meant to give it some attention since we moved in 3 summers ago. If I'd not got it done this year I felt sure it would have tumbled down.
Since it has been repaired, cleaned and painted it has been a pleasure to sit in. As school starts again tomorrow I'm hoping it will be a place to unwind. It looks out over some wonderful trees and all you hear is the wind in them. Our garden is shared, but no one comes here. Perhaps the next stage will be a bit of floor paint, a few candles, some cushions, but the spareness is restful and simple so I will take it slow.
