Balloted

I got the call this morning to say I had been in the ballot for jury service - and had been selected for the supplementary list. I.e. those from whom jurors would be drawn if there was an issue with one of the empanelled jurors.

So off to the court for 2pm.

After an hour and a half I - and the 9 others on the supplementary list - were released and thanked for making ourselves available. Sitting on a jury will have to wait for another day.
