Family Theme

I'm enjoying the theme I chose for Index Card a Day. It's very good to have a quick arty project to do daily. Plus, the focus is very meaningful to me and I don't have to think too much! It's turned out to be just what I needed. 

Mom had her cast put on her wrist today. Thanks for all your supportive comments yesterday... you'll be glad to know mom seemed more rested and less overwhelmed today. Having to do transport in a van for her wheelchair is no picnic, as there is often waiting before and after her appointment, but we did it! My mom certainly is a trooper. 

A very nice and understanding Casting Technician got mom's wrist into position and carefully put her cast on. One of the assistants chose a pink cast when mom said, you choose. It looks great (if a cast can look good) and mom liked the color.... I've added an extra of my beautiful mom.
