I thought this evening that I didn't have a blip for today, then I looked up and jumped.

Something I have never noticed before: poppies last only a day. Each morning my garden is glowing with a hundred of them and each evening there are only seed heads and buds ready for tomorrow. This year I am getting rid of the seed heads as I want room for other plants next year.

I planted out the rest of the sunflowers
I weeded
I chopped the weeds into the water-dustbin
I planted out the rest of the dill
I weeded

I planted out the rest of the sage
I weeded
I left the weeds on the path for tomorrow.
