Do cross the streams

Rubbish night's sleep because my neighbour fell again and the doctors and/or nurses came about one in the morning, bumping and clumping around and talking very loudly on the doorstep. Busy day at the controls meant I finished and was tired enough to want to go back to bed, but in the end I got changed and went out in the sun for a bike ride.

I wanted to look for the old ford across the Boghall Burn/Bilston Burn. It existed in the early 1900s but a newer ford was constructed in the 1940s. The burn has changed shape and meanders more now but my photo shows where the ground drops to meet the water.

A trip to IKEA came after, to look at wall units again, and then the supermarket for some fruit.
