It’s very hot now with weather warnings for next few days. Gyp suffering. 

After trouble with man who damaged my car, he.s now decided to go pay garage and I’ll be able to contact garage for a date. So my threats paid off and I suspect he may be uninsured. 
A gendarme turned up today after my visit to Mairie yesterday and advised me to make a police complaint if man doesn’t pay up. Confirmed my interpretation of the road is correct and the man who blocked it was talking rubbish. 
All a bit complicated but seems it will work out ok in the end.
