Common House Moth

Despite my having taken this about 21 and a half hours ago, I've only just got round to posting it! I've not even had anything really pressing to do , just the usual personal admin, getting enough exercise to outrun the grim reaper, the never-ending cleaning of the tatty house and hosting the cat on my lap in intense heat!

This evening when Brian was home we went over to Metheringham and I took some belated Fathers' Day flowers to my parents' grave. Not that he was ever really one for flowers...

I made a tofu and veg tikka wrap for my tea and managed to cover the kitchen that I'd just cleaned today in curry!

Tomorrow I am getting my hair cut and I will need to spend some time looking for some of my cooler clothing too. It's 10 PM now and we still have the door grille on!

The moth? I noticed him last night in the bathroom whilst getting ready for bed. Apparently this and his ilk will destroy all the furniture and fabric in the house if enough of them came in. I wonder how long it would take us to notice?

Not that they'd stand a chance! We share our home with Minstrel the Mighty Moth-Slayer. I'm glad he doesn't eat them, but every day we have to dispose of many lepidopteran corpses. Not this one though - I got Brian to take it outside - alive!
