I had my ankle checked by the GP this morning and she sent me to the hospital to get an X-ray taken. Bert drove me to the hospital and I walked (well, wobbled) into the hospital. Low and behold… I have broken my ankle when I twisted it on Friday night. So, I was wheeled out of the hospital. Bert knows how I do not like to be dependent, so had to take a photo.

Thankfully, it is a stable break, so I do not need a cast. First I have a couple of days with drukverband’ to remove the swelling, then a brace for a few weeks.
