Jade Rabbit

I know! Another Lego set. I’ve been very lucky recently. This was one of my Father’s Day presents and might already be one of my favourite sets. Isn’t it just lovely. It even opens up to reveal two little bunnies on the inside. It is a set of the Jade Rabbit, details below of what that is, I don’t know of it before.

The Jade Rabbit is a character from Chinese folklore, who lives on the moon with Chang-e, and is always seen preparing the elixir of life for the immortals. He is a noble and benevolent creature to whom offerings are often made during Mid Autumn Festival.
