A game of two halves…

……..three vans on-site, lots of banging and crashing and the feeling of progress was palpable. However, by lunchtime, problems were surfacing, my calls were going unanswered and that ‘ignore you’ thing tradesmen get a bad rep for was raising its ugly head. I was quite frustrated by the time Nancy got home, so we agreed a strategy for handling our first real disappointment with the plumber.

One part of the strategy was going for a walk around the village which was lovely in the late evening sun.
