Mono Monday Back-Blip

A new week begins, and it is full of expectations. We are waiting to get the car back. I am waiting to hear from the UK Visa office on whether my visa application is successful, and that's the two big things.

G had a 4get-me-not planning meeting in Bur Juman, so she got herself there on the metro, and then a taxi back. We were so pleased to be part of rachelwhynot's brother-in-law's funeral service. It's always so amazing to hear about the life of a person, especially when they have been so active in serving God.

We raced out to Rashidiya to collect the car. I have to say, I was taken aback by the bill. Argh. I hate to think what it would have been if I hadn't done the running around for one part in particular. It was great to be back in it, driving home. The big test will come tomorrow when we drive it after it's been in the sun for a few hours.

My blip wasn't taken today, but it works well for the theme of Mono Monday.
