Tuesday
When Tim left, 18 months ago, he gave me the chipper. He also gave me a whole host of other things; balls, earthenware jug, big bowl, every unused dog poo bag he had picked up etc etc.
Well, he rang last evening saying he was going pick up the red screwdriver with the attachment that he'd left on it!
So, he's going to come all the way from Fishponds to borrow a screwdriver.
I said I may not be able to find it. But he would not accept that would be the case.
Fortunately, Clive knew exactly where it was. Phew!
I had a long chat with Pauline. Martin has outlived his prognosis by about a week. However, she nearly called Clive last night because Martin had fallen and she struggled to get him up. She managed. I said, you should have called, whatever the time.
She says she expected him to die last night and she thinks it'll be soon. I noticed a hospital type bed was delivered and Dave, from up the road, cleared furniture downstairs. Hopefully that'll make it easier for Pauline.
I think she's remarkable. She admitted that she'd like it all to be over now. It's very sad.
Chloe and Oliver were officially married today. Just two witnesses. We've a wedding this weekend.
