High Altitude Hummingbird Hawkmoth

… on one of our classic Alpine walks, the Tour of the Argentine Massif (more info here https://www.myswitzerland.com/en-ch/experiences/route/tour-de-largentine/) The flowers are still in their prime with so many St. Bruno’s Lillies and Alpine Rhododendrons out right now. 

And the cows …. Some are finally up in the meadows and the flowers have now yet been eaten! Extras as I can’t decide which to post, sorry, I’m now in a rush having lost 90 minutes at the end of the walk because I managed to lock the car key inside the car inside my rucksack! Poor David had to come out with the spare key. Fortunately, I wasn’t too far away from home. 

Now we’re going out to a birthday party, nice to be able to relax.
