Today's Lunch!

A great morning on May Isle with 3 hours on the island which is the longest stopover possible due to the level of the tide.

Sad news ..... no Arctic Terns nesting on the island this year. The boat crew told us that an owl had killed most of last year's chicks so this year they have gone elsewhere. I, along with everyone else, hope the adults will return.

Hundreds of Puffins just waiting to have their photographs taken. Paths are quite narrow and very uneven in places but taking care nowhere was out of reach even to us 'oldies'!

Plenty of other sea birds to be seen alongside the puffins ..... Guillemot with the long pointed beak and Razorbills with a much stubbier bill with white marks .... both added to the Puffins in the extra.
