Dead Tree

Up until last week this tree was still standing..I did wonder if it was dead as it hadn’t got many (if any) leaves. It surprised me just how much of the middle was rotten and/or missing which shows up really well now that the trunk has been sliced up.

Added an extra of what is left in the ground…which I stood on to take the main image :-)
