View from bell tower

We had a walk down to the roman bridge first thing. Lovely and peaceful. 
Afterwards we walked up the cathedral bell tower. There were 200 steps, but luckily there were several landings to stop off at on the way, so it wasn't too difficult a climb. Our hotel was right below (extras). We stopped for a coffee and tapas afterwards and then did some more exploring. We found a lovely garden nearby and spent some time there in the afternoon reading. I also did some sketching.
Neil picked us up at 6pm and took us back to their campsite where we had dinner at the site restaurant. We got a taxi back to our hotel, and it was really difficult driving back through the throngs of visitors in the old town. Just as we reached the hotel, the fireworks started, so we headed down towards the roman bridge to watch.
