Gorgeous Day!

The most perfect of Oregon early summer days - well it’s almost summer :-) Sunny, blue skies, a bit of a breeze and a lovely temperature that topped out at 77F/25C this afternoon.

I planted cucumber seeds in my raised veggie bed this morning, after adding compost. Then installed the tomato cages and contemplating adding just one more tomato plant.

Puttered around a bit, getting ready for our monthly supper club which is at my house on Friday. Currently the forecast is for rain, which upends my plans of dining on the deck darn it!

I played golf with my friend Diana this afternoon. She’s a member of Rock Creek Country Club, which is the course that I live on, but I’m no longer a member. It was a really terrific game and excellent company! I played better than I’ve played all spring :-)

Finally our annual HOA meeting this evening- I live in a really amazing community! I’m on the board and in charge of landscaping along with my fellow board member Rita, so we had to give a bit of a song and dance for the members. All went very well!

Here’s a macro of a perennial geranium whose cultivar name escapes me. But what a beauty!
