And so it begins again

It was back to the hospital today to begin pre-surgery examinations and tests for blood, X-Rays and ECG for surgery on July 21st.
My first appointment was for a blood test at 10.30 and I arrived 10 minutes or so ahead ot time. I was on my way to my 11am appointment by 10.27. Amazing!
So instead of waiting for that X Ray appointment, I walked the 150m or so  down to the ECG department(which is walk-in) and was out of there by10.50. It only took so long because I can't walk fast, as I have to keep stopping to bend over to relieve hip pain.
Back to the Medical Imaging department, stripped off, donned my hi fashion hospital gown, and went in for X ray.
I was out of there by 11.10. 
Everything accomplished in a little under an hour.

In a mind boggling display of sartorial inelegance and ineptitude for the merest semblance of diplomacy , the big fat felon from down south showed up to the G7 summit in Kananaskis wearing one of his Chinese made maga hats.
So much for domestic manufacturing and jobs eh?
As the various leaders arrived, they were met by Mark Carney, most with a warm smile, a hug, or a kiss on the cheek for the ladies. Not our favourite a***hole though, just a handshake for him out of politeness.
I would love to be a fly on the wall whenever they are all together and the cameras aren't rolling to see how much attention they pay him.
I bet it's not much.
