This, that and t'other

Started day with the dentist, a clean and a discussion. Bought a book 'Morrigan' from the Amnesty International bookshop. Morrigan is one of Amelia's middle names.

Went in past the Manor to see Mum. She can't remember where she went to primary school. Well it was a long time ago. 

Back home had some lunch and sent some emails including ones to East Lothian archives. 

S and T came back from another open top bus trip, making them most of them 24 hour ticket and I took them to the Waverley. Went in past Mum's on the way home to ask her a question I'd forgotten to ask earlier. She didn't know there answer to that either. 

Then drove to the Medical Centre, early, so I could listen to the end of the Joanna Lumley, Roger Allam episode. Talked to the nurse for a while about life now and then, mat leave, pat leave (or not) and mortgage interest rates 

Home again stripped the bed and set the machine for tomorrow then started to draft a Board paper.

Then off back to the Lyceum for the programme launching the 25/26 season. Interesting chat on and off the stage but I didn't stay for the drinks in the bar. Straight home on a #47 to update and finish that paper. 

It was warm today but no rain. Not a lot of sun either.
