Collared Dove

I really enjoy having the bird feeding station right in front of the window. I just didn't think the collared dove would stay long enough for me to sort out my camera to get a shot.

It was a good morning in church. My next door neighbour, whom I've known since he was a boy, has a job with the diocese and is going around the churches taking photos to help them with their social media and websites. Although I usually do the church photos it was great letting someone else do them while I was busy with Sunday School. I gave him a memory stick for him to put his RAWs onto so I can edit them myself to straighten pillars and have colour toning with the shots we already have.

What he very quickly did was, put together for Facebook, a few pre-service shots of us all with our coffee cups, chatting and laughing with the strapline: "Way too much joy at Greystoke Church this morning!" 

We are a happy lot!
