Graveyard Smash!

Happy Heavenly Fathers Day to my Dad today.
I visited Joan, then I picked some flowers from the garden to take to the Graves & loaded them up along with my Strimmer.
The Sun was shining on a glorious day; first I collected a watering can of Water before getting the flowers from the car.
I walked down to my Mum's Grave where my Dad's ashes were scattered along with my Step-Mum's too.
I tidied the area, cutting the brambles back that had started to find their way onto & into the grave, then I cleaned the area where the metal vase is only to find it was full of Ants..... eeeewwww! We have lots in the garden too.
I picked up the Vase to try to open it to get the debris out from inside & couldn't open it, so I poured water into it to put the flowers in only to find the face of a little Toad looking at me through one of the holes; I couldn't leave him in there, he would die as he'd never get out again; he may well get a good feed on the Ants & get fatter.
I put gloves on in the hope of getting a better grip & voila I opened it & saved this little Toad. so cute, he hoped away.
I continued to put flowers on all my families graves, before leaving & popping into the Blackbrooks Garden Centre where I bought nothing.
I then drove to Polegate & stopped at a Charity Shop where I bought 2 Books.... another thing I buy alot of. Home for late Lunch. :)
