Having a go in the garden

Day 1. Having a go with my new Canon EOS R100, a thoughtful birthday present from my wife. It’s been a very long time since I’ve owned a camera so this was very exciting but also slightly nerve wracking to see if I could work out how to use such a kind gift.
Anyway, here is a shot of the Scabious in the back garden - I love the joy of the pink pom-poms in amongst all the green. I also quite like a bit of lens flare from the sun - I know it’s not to everyone’s taste but you will appreciate in this case it also wasn’t deliberate - I just liked it!
