Stonechat

We had a lovely little wander around Lunt Meadows this morning, but apart from a single distant curlew sandpiper, it was a tad disappointing. It was very warm, hot even, and we were definitely tired and ready for lunch by noon. Luckily there is an Ego's nearby and we popped in for some food. We then returned for a quick look at the stonechat family at the entrance to the reserve. One of the wardens told us about them as we were leaving but we didn't see them, so went back for a look after lunch. 
This time they were very much present, very obliging and happily posed nicely for some photos.
