Day 10 - A surprise sunset sailing trip, Manhattan

This morning we spent our time wandering through Central Park. Then Michael told me that there was a surprise and we had to be in Chelsea at 6pm. Whilst walking there, I got the following information out of him - shoes are better than flip flops, there will be drinks but no food, it will take a couple of hours, we have to check in. I had absolutely no idea what was going on! Then he told me the surprise was a birthday present from my girls in Sydney (Jess, Rae & Nicole)! I was very excited as we reached our destination - the Adirondack sailing ship! My amazing friends had booked us onto the sunset cruise of Manhattan, complete with alcoholic beverages. Thank you ladies!!

The cruise was amazing - it was perfect weather and a perfect sunset, we sailed right down to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and past the financial district. Michael had beer and I had champagne - yumm. The only thing that could have made it any better is if Jess, Rae and Nicole could have been there too.
