From owl to peg doll

We used to use a little owl to help us keep track of whose turn it was in UNO.

Last week, Ian sent it flying and sheared off an ear and left a sharp point so the owl has gone into retirement.

A clever Etsy maker magicked this up for me when I put in a custom order for an UNO themed peg doll. Some people are very clever!

It didn’t bring me much luck though as I didn’t win a single game this week! Hope she is luckier next time around.

After ringing and UNO we headed out for lunch. Dad got tucked into some soup and prawn cocktail as his Father’s Day treat. Ian enjoyed a nice chocolate brownie sundae to round off his meal - so two happy Dads!

I went to bed about 5pm as I had a killer headache I couldn’t dose away - think it is the weather!
