Sad Tom
MrM kindly gave me a lift to Leeds this morning, so I could spend some time with Lucy and keep her company while Reuben was on a course. Her shoulder is a little less painful than it was, but she's getting very little sleep as it's so uncomfortable. It was warm and dry so we sat outside for much of the time, though I tackled a couple of chores in the kitchen.
Barry the cat wandered in and out, and a couple of times we were joined by Sad Tom - they call him that as he always has a sad expression. He's a stray that apparently frequents their garden increasingly often. He's very wary, but gradually creeps closer and closer to the house, and today seemed quite happy lying a few feet away from us. Before they know it they'll have two cats...
Left Lucy just after 4.00pm as she wanted a nap, and made my way back home by public transport. Not as easy as it sounds just now as half the 'trains' to Huddersfield are rail replacement buses, and best avoided...
