Toledo

Sunday
We took the train from Atocha Madrid to Toledo in the morning. A reasonable walk from Toledo train station up to the old town. Luckily they have escalators for the last part of the climb up.
Very busy with tourists! Also, there seemed to be a local event - a run - taking place and we passed this group of drummers.
We visited a church with a lovely courtyard, an art gallery, and had a walk by the river (Tagus) on our way back to the station.
Back to Madrid late afternoon.
