be amazed
Today was Father's Day and Bert got to choose what we were going to do and what we were going to eat.He actually always does the latter since he retired. He chose to walk to Albert Heijn to buy the seeds and nuts we need to bake a specific bread and while we were in Valkenburg, he wanted to go to the museum there for an exhibition of Charles Eyck. So we went.
We walked along the road, no muddy dirt. It's not very far, only 9 kilometres, still, quite tough for my left foot. We also walked back. I like challenges. Tomorrow I will know if the foot has any problems.
The Eijck exhibition was very small, so we also looked at works in the rest of the museum. My blip of today is taken inside the museum. In my blip of today work by Robert Currie which took me some time to investigate. You’ll see it in the extra. In the second extra, a work by Martijn Lucas van Erp.
It was a nice day. The walk was a bit long, but I like walking. Despite my odd foot.
