Saltaire

Backblipped for Wednesday 11/6. I was given a Dermatology appointment at Shipley Medical Centre today. The only problem was that it was at 9am. Buses through the village not being reliable at the best of times, my daughter offered me a lift. Quick and efficient appointment with a lovely member of staff and then we needed a coffee. Parked near the main road, but as it was still before 10am most of the cafes were not open. We therefore decided to have a walk down into Saltaire village, and went into Roberts Park for coffee at the Half Moon Cafe. Nice to sit and chat in the lovely warm sunshine. We then walked back up the hill - capturing the river scene from the bridge. Back at the car I was amused by the vehicle parked nearby (extra) - very boxy and too bright to miss! I believe it is a Nissan Cube, and is well known in the area :-))
