Back lane in Goondiwindi

"Goondiwindi" derives from an Aboriginal word meaning "the resting place of the birds". We crossed from the Queensland border town today back into our home state of New South Wales. It was another long day of driving and I fear this image is all I have to blip. I am falling behind also with my comments, but hope to catch up soon. Tonight we are staying in Coonabarabran, home of Siding Spring Observatory and known as the astronomy capital of Australia.
