Winners

Ladies and Gentlemen this is our winner. A not quite factory entry ( it beat the factory cars ). Although we wanted other teams to win we’ve always really liked the lead driver who is a Pole called Robert Kubica. Very talented driver in F1 who suffered a horrific accident He never really managed to restart
his F1 career but has done well in endurance racing, and to win at Le Mans is a huge achievement. It was also the first win for a driver from China ( there are 3 drivers in each car ).

There was a change to the normal routine, the officials decreed should be closed for an hour after the race to allow VIPs to leave without hindrance. This meant we were a bit worried about catching our train under the sea so half of our team left early leaving Alfie and I on our own which was lovely.

As it was, we made the train and we are actually now sitting on one that’s half an hour earlier than we had booked, so we should be home probably by about midnight.
