I spy with my little eye.....

Spotted Mum's reading glasses, hidden under a small piece of driftwood adorned with a silk flower that lives on Mum's bedside table. Only been looking for them for the last 3 days.
Up on the plot at 6am. Cracked on with fencing the gooseberry patch. Very pleased with the project so far. Will finish it tomorrow morning.
Usual busy Sunday routine. Had a surprise visit at Mum's. Sara brought Harold (one of the Anchor regulars) to say hello. He's now living in a nursing home in Paignton. Sara, his daughter, takes him out for a car ride every day. It was a lovely surprise for Mum.
Back to Chudleigh, we had roast chicken with tasty homemade sage & onion stuffing.
I dropped Mum home, picked in her laundry, folded & put away. Left Mum watching Countryfile.
