3 of us went on a road trip to the longest lido in England; Tooting Bec, at 91m long.

Google maps took us through London which was surprisingly not that busy on the roads, especially considering the Trooping of the Colour was going on not that far away.

I took the top left photo because the Shard is popping up behind the Tower of London - old and new. The city has so many old / new sights.

The lido was incredible. Loved the multiple coloured changing rooms. My friends are behind these doors.

Very relaxed with its rules, very busy and very delightful. I guess that’s why it was teeming with the young and old and everyone inbetween. Picnics welcome. A great cafe. It’s unheated, refreshing, appealing and long. Great to be able to dive in. Swim and mess around and swim lengths.

We headed back and I arrived home as 6 young lovelies turned up. HatBox and WelshMan are staying overnight. Great evening. Great food and a couple of great games.
