Zantedeschia Schwarzwalder Tuber - Black Arum Lily
Arum lilies are valued the world over for their absolutely beautiful and graceful flowers and equally beautiful foliage.
It is so easy to cultivate and horticulturists all over the world create cultivars by hybridizing the true species within this genus.
More than half of todays cultivars and hybrids grown all over the world are from South Africa, of which the most significant offering was the Arum Lily.
With its long lasting blooms which make excellent cut flowers, Arums are very popular with both gardeners as well as florists. All of them are summer growing and winter dormant with the exception of Zantedeschia aethiopica which is evergreen.
C&R snr purchsed this rare black Arum Lily today. They bought an ordinary yellow one and a very interesting orange one as well. I promise to show them at a later stage!
