Fathers Day

Penny and Steve, Ottilie and Layla went out to lunch at The Percy Arms to celebrate. This, of course, is Steve and Ottilie. A few hours before Ottilie had a bit of a meltdown. Never mind. Such is life. I've had a more mundane day, the most irritating thing being that I have lost my Fitbit. I knew that the strap was a bit dodgy. I've retraced my steps so far as I can remember but nothing so far. I'll give it till tomorrow. I've had / started quite a bit paper clear up and the green bin is pretty full of same. So a small bit of progress there. I have been to B&Q and got them to re-shake various pots of paint - I have only got a small area to repaint following the front door being repositioned. Not finished yet but I have done a scratch coat inside and out and worked out what colour should go on the walls once the scratch coat is dry. I rather fear i may have to buy a whole new pot of paint as I suspect that the tester pot isnt quite going to cover it. I have masonry paint for outside but it is of "a certain age" and will need review. That's about it really.
