What a night

Only in bed a few minutes and lightening started, plus claps of thunder, we watched through the skylight from bed and fell asleep. Woke up with a horrendous thunder storm, the wind was so strong it caught the front skylight and took it to fully open, not what you want with heavy rain. Hubby to the rescue and all well. Hetty was so stressed I sat with her until it passed, got a lot of reading done before back to bed at around two.
Walked to the church in the morning and then along the beach and over to another peninsula in the afternoon. Made mushrooms and pasta for dinner and glass of red. Hetty now sound asleep and think I will be with her soon.
