Mr KCNQ2Haiku went for a bike ride this morning and I had a bit of a doze whilst Ben went back to his iPad.  It's been quite a good weekend for that (although necessary as the blood sugars have had me up both nights!) Ben and I decided to go for a walk up the fell to give Leo a potter and I thought it would keep Ben busy.. he's always a bit tricky going uphill, he gets out of puff (me too!) but he struggles to keep motivated through that.  I had some incentives planned but he decided he didn't want them.  I pushed him a little bit but once he started shouting and lashing out I knew I'd reached his limit so I offered him a break, which he took on this gate.. we talked about carrying on a little bit and he was half interested but then a quad bike came past with a farmer and a sheep dog and I realised Leo was going to become an 'unknown quantity' and that on my own I couldn't handle Ben handling Leo going bonkers(!).. so I called it and suggested we head home.  On the way down Ben skidded a few times and I kept praising him for holding it together so by the time we got back he thought he'd done a really good job.. 
Anyway, other than that.. packed up and cleaned, had lunch and endured the traffic (and Ben's feelings about the traffic) on the M6 home :-/ Now feeling a bit Sunday ish, this week is busy but we should get a bit more clarity for Ben on schedules and expectations for his move to residential, so that will be another big step forwards.
