B-29

Today I met with a friend at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia near Washington, D.C., for the annual Innovations in Flight event. It was a fly-in with many aircraft from World War II to mark the 80th anniversary of end of the war.

This is Doc, one of two airworthy B-29s (I've flown in the other). Other planes are in extras: A C-47, Boeing 737-8 Max that we got to walk through, and a German Luftwaffe Airbus A400M Atlas.
