Meat the Neighbours

After dancing on Friday night in the Hoy Kirk we had a tremendous night of dancing last night in Kirkwall.  We were honoured to be invited to a Diamond Wedding.  The couple belong to Papay and spent 35 years together there before moving to the Mainland.  They were on the dance floor quite a lot.  We were also up in the third fastest Strip the Willow we’ve ever danced.  Earlier this year we were at a Golden Wedding in Aviemore.  Everyone headed home at 10.00pm.  Last night, after dancing on the second best dance floor in Orkney, we slipped into bed at 02.00hrs.  Today we had a pre-arranged visit of Phil and Caille for coffee scones etc.  The Current Mrs Creel played her joker and made a fresh batch of pancakes.  Later I gardened whilst a panel of judges watched.
